
Environmental Policy
In order to reduce the negative environmental impacts of its activities, Eurome S.r.l has decided to voluntarily adhere to the UNI EN ISO 14001:2015 and UNI EN ISO 14064-1:2019 standards.
Eurome S.r.l. is therefore committed to pursuing the continuous improvement of its environmental performance, minimizing, where technically possible and economically viable, any negative impact of its activities on the environment, including GHG emissions to the atmosphere resulting from company activities.
Eurome S.r.l. considers itself sensitive to the legitimate civil, social and environmental needs of the community and its employees so to give concrete expression to these intentions it is committed to apply and continuously improve an Environmental Management System in accordance with UNI EN ISO 14001:2015 and UNI EN ISO 14064-1:2019, and to pursue the objectives and strategic directions set out below:
- ensure that its activities are carried out in accordance with current legal requirements; to this end, it verifies its legislative compliance periodically and uses ISO 14001 and ISO 14064 certifications as an enforcement and audit tool;
- Maintain a proactive role of management in promoting continuous improvement in the subjects covered by the Environmental Management System;
- Minimize energy and water consumption and waste generation, encouraging their recovery and, where possible, separate collection and proper waste disposal;
- Quantifying and calculating GHG emissions from activities carried out in the operational headquarters of the XIII Municipality of Rome, increasing awareness of its environmental impact;
- Set environmental objectives and targets in relation to its own environmental aspects and impacts, both direct and indirect, to be integrated with operational management and business development programs;
- Ensure that all personnel receive adequate information and training on the requirements of the Environmental Management System and understand its implications with regard to their role in the company and their behavior at work;
- Carry out checks, inspections and audits designed to identify and prevent any situations of non-compliance with the requirements of the Environmental Management System;
- Develop and develop plans containing measures and procedures necessary to prevent accidental or emergency situations and to contain their effects;
- Undergo periodic review of the policy and application of the Environmental Management System to assess its correctness and effectiveness, with a view to continuous improvement in environmental performance;
- Share, disseminate, communicate to stakeholders its environmental policy, aspects, impacts, objectives and targets identified and achieved.
